Part of Port st Mary harbour remains cordoned off this evening, after a barrel of an unknown chemical was washed up in the area.
Fire crews and police are still at the scene and the area will remain closed to the public until it's known exactly what the barrel contains, and it has been safety removed.
Officials wearing protective clothing are carrying out investigations and an eye witness has told Manx Radio the container appears to be leaking a green liquid.
