Union looks at how department handled education during pandemic
A teaching union has highlighted, what it's described as, the 'systemic failure' of the education department.
The NAHT has been looking into how education has been handled during the pandemic and isn't happy with comments made by the department's Chief Executive at a recent Public Accounts Committee meeting.
The union says the vast majority of teachers on the Island registered a vote of no confidence in the education department's leadership team in January, which was backed-up at a virtual meeting last night.
