Teachers will be in work tomorrow
Teachers on the Isle of Man will not strike tomorrow.
The NASUWT – The Teachers’ Union has confirmed to Manx Radio that industrial action will be suspended.
The union says it’s due to a commitment from the Department of Education, Sport and Culture to consider a range of suggestions which could address issues with pay and conditions.
Deputy General Secretary Jane Peckham says it appears government is listening:
The union has declined to reveal details of the suggestions it has put forward.
All pupils are expected to attend school as normal tomorrow (12 January).
