
The Nat West Island Games were officially opened in Bermuda last night (Sat)
The event took place at the the National Sports Centre Athletics track getting underway at 7pm local time in Bermuda - around 11pm our time.
Teams processed into the arena and each brought a sample of water from around their home Island for the water ceremony, in which its all added to a large water feature which forms a centrepiece for the event.

Competition proper gets underway today, when the Island's badminton players will take on the Falkland Islands whilst in the beach volleyball event we'll be playing the Caymans.
