Final preparations are taking place in Bermuda ahead of the Nat West Island games opening ceremony this evening.
The event at the National Sports Centre Athletics track takes place at 7pm local time - around 11pm our time as Bermuda is four hours behind.
The Island will be competing with teams from around the world including Greenland, the Faroe Islands, Gotland and Cayman Islands.
One of the main events this evening will be the Water Ceremony, where each team brings in a sample of water from around their own Island to be added to a large water feature which forms a centrepiece of the event.
Competition proper gets underway tomorrow, when the Island's badminton players will take on the Falkland Islands whilst in the beach volleyball event we'll be playing the Caymans.
Dan Smith from the Island's beach volleyball team says he's looking forward to the competition
