
Nationalists in the Isle of Man are watching Scotland carefully after the Scottish Nationalist Party won an overall majority in last week's elections for the devolved parliament.
The SNP says it will now hold a referendum on whether Scotland should be a fully independent state, something the Celtic League has campaigned for in all the countries in which it has branches.
Director of information Bernard Moffatt says the nationalist victory in Scotland is heartening, and the Scots look likely to leapfrog the Isle of Man's calls for independence from the United Kingdom:
