World War II shells discovered yesterday
Naval personnel are currently on their way to the Island to deal with the World War II ordnance found in Willaston.
Police have confirmed officials will arrive this evening before disposing of the shells discovered in a garden on Watterson Lane tomorrow in daylight.
A section of Fenella Avenue between Watterson Lane and Keppel Road remains closed.
The team will also dispose of other ordnance found around the Island's coast in recent months, which is currently in storage.
