Prince William was on a mercy mission just off the Isle of Man yesterday (Thursday).
The Duke of Cambridge flew a serviceman - from a warship off the Island - to Sandhurst in Surrey, to see a seriously ill relative.
The Royal then flew back to his base on Anglesey before making the trip to open a new £18million children’s cancer unit in south London.
The Duke, an RAF search and a rescue helicopter co-pilot, carried out the ‘compassionate call-out’ and also picked up a casualty with serious head injuries in Snowdonia.
