As Cooish Week draws to a close, people with an interest in the revival of Celtic languages have an opportunity to hear how experiences in Cornwall in recent times reflect those in the Isle of Man.
Development manager for the Cornish Language Partnership Jenefer Lowe will give the annual Ned Maddrell Lecture, at St John's Mill this afternoon (play audio file):
The lecture starts at 2pm.
The final event of Cooish Week 2009 is a music and language session, at the Albert Hotel in Port St Mary, from 9pm today.
