Police in the Isle of Man are trying a startling new approach to draw attention to the common crime of car theft.
A bright yellow poster showing a Porche Cabriolet is being put on display at filling stations in the Island.
It's in the form of a 'for sale' advertisement, and suggests that careless owners offer their expensive cars free of charge.
The poster says the motorist left his keys in the vehicle overnight.
Police say there has recently been a spate of car thefts, and the new approach to warning people of the crime has been been prompted by the fact 'run of the mill' media releases have had little or no impact.
