Police in the Isle of Man have demonstrated a new type of ball-bearing gun which is being touted as a safer alternative to existing models.
Many current types are exact copies of real fire-arms, but the new version has a distinctive transparent appearance.
The new product has become available at the same time as changes have been made to the Island's firearms legislation, as Sergeant Terry Stephen explains (audio file attached):
