Author hopes it will spark 'cultural memory'
A new book about the Second World War internment camps in the Isle of Man has received a number of glowing reviews.
It's called 'The Island of Extraordinary Captives' and tells the story of how a group of world-renowned artists, musicians and academics became known as 'enemy aliens'
The author, Simon Parkin, drew his material from unpublished first-hand accounts and previously classified documents:
'Deterrent' sentence imposed for ketamine importer
Several sailings at risk or cancelled due to adverse weather
