Arthur Caley - the seven foot, eleven inches tall Manx Giant - is the subject of a new book by local author John Quirk.
And this weekend there's an opportunity to find out just how huge he was, when John will be signing copies, accompanied by a life-size image of the famous Victorian character.
John says it's quite a sight (play audio file):
The book charts Caley's early years in the Isle of Man, and his travels in the United Kingdom and onto Paris.
There he was reported dead at the age of 26, but he actually moved to America, where he was signed up by the legendary showman PT Barnum, and starred in his 'Greatest Show on Earth' in the 1880s.
The signing sessions will be at the Lexicon from 2pm to 4pm this afternoon.
