Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne says the redevelopment of Richmond Hill has made the New Castletown Road much safer.
This morning in the House of Keys (Tuesday) he faced questions from Onchan MHK Peter Karran about the total cost of the scheme.
Mr Gawne said the project was currently around £250,000 under budget, although some work has yet to be finished.
He told MHKs he wasn’t a road safety expert but the improvements had been praised by others.
