Efforts underway to keep Freemasons' Hall open to public
Efforts are underway to open the Freemasons’ Hall in Douglas to the wider Manx community.
Expressions of interest are being sought from experienced businesses, or individuals, who could deliver catering at the facility.
It’s after Woodbourne House made the decision to pull out of the venue, after almost a decade, blaming pressures facing the hospitality industry and the ‘substantial ongoing investment and maintenance’ needed at the building.
You can find out more HERE.
Ralph Peake is the chairman of the Freemasons’ Hall:
"It is a distinctive and welcoming venue with considerable potential for weddings, celebrations and larger events."
Anyone interested in the venture should call Ralph on 497661 or email fmhd@freemasonary.im.
