Ivan Kiely takes up post in July
The Isle of Man Communications Commission has a new chief executive officer.
Ivan Kiely takes over the position following the retirement of Dr Carmel McLaughlin, who had held the post since 2008.
Mr Kiely currently holds a senior position at ComReg, the Telecommunications Regulator in Ireland.
Mr Kiely will take up his post on the 2nd July and is moving to the Island with his young family.
He says wants to see the Island emerge as a leader and innovator in new technologies in what is a fast-moving industry,
The Communications Commission is a Statutory Board of Tynwald and is responsible for regulating the Island’s telecommunications and broadcasting industries.
