Leigh Morris to reflect on work experiences abroad
An online talk this evening (13 May) aims to give a unique insight into an island more than 5,000 miles south of Manx shores.
The Manx Wildlife Trust's new CEO Leigh Morris, previously spent two years working on St Helena before he moved here in January.
As part of Manx Wildlife Week, he'll be live on Facebook from 7:30pm tonight, reflecting on his work and experiences in a place he describes as "a microcosm of everything environmental."
Mr Morris says there might even be some familiarities for Manx people:
Gas supplier provides reassurance amid ongoing global market volatility
Farmers in race against time after freight backlog in Heysham
Further changes to sailing schedule due to tidal restrictions
Census 'still one of the most valuable statistical tools' for government
'Immigration is needed' for economic growth on Island
