
Peel has a new commissioner.
Retired teacher Kate Felton has been elected unopposed, subject to the standard withdrawal and objection period which ends at two o’clock this afternoon.
She will replace Arran Kaighin, who resigned last month.
Her term of office will run until April 2016.
