Portable device provides consistent chest compressions
The Isle of Man's Air Ambulance service has been kitted out with a brand-new device.
Funded by the Henry Bloom Noble Healthcare Trust, the portable CPR machine provides consistent chest compressions - freeing up medical professionals onboard to concentrate on treatment.
It's believed it will make a huge difference for patients being transported for treatment further afield, as over half of all cases the air ambulance deals with are cardiac related.
