
Tackling crime in the capital.
That’s what a new Douglas Corporation initiative is aiming to achieve.
Yesterday (Tuesday) councillors teamed up with the police, representatives of government departments and the private sector at an all-day workshop to assess the possibility of setting up a crime disorder reduction partnership.
Inspector Ken Kneale (pictured) says there are many benefits in such a multi-agency approach:
