The new man in charge of the Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team says tackling low-level crime and antisocial behaviour are his top two priorities.
Inspector Phil Shimmin took over the position in last week's shake-up, which also saw Inspector Richard Power return to Ramsey, to head up the Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team.
Inspector Derek Flint has moved from the NNPT to Police Headquarters.
Inspector Shimmin says he's pleased with the way incidents of vandalism in the capital have been dealt with in recent weeks:

Smile of Mann programme to start in primary schools next year
Loganair passengers yet to be reunited with bags left in Manchester on Sunday
Kirk Michael man taking on 31 marathons in 31 days in memory of friend
Government grant partially funded fishing vessel later used for smuggling
