'Loki' shares his name with a mischievous Norse god
Douglas Council has revealed the latest addition to it's Town Centre Management team.
'Loki' the loaghtan sheep was unveiled yesterday on Strand Street, Douglas (14 Feb) as the town's new mascot.
Sharing his name with the Norse God, the new figure's been drafted into become the friendly and fun face of Douglas Council at local events.
Speaking to Manx Radio yesterday (14 Feb) Town Center Manager Oliver Cheshire says the idea for a mascot's been a long time coming:
