Open for business at new site
Douglas Post Office punters showed appreciation for the new store on Strand Street this morning.
The site is in the old Carnival pub building - replacing the Crown Post Office on Regent Street.
Although it's already open, construction is set to complete next week.
It's then expected to be fully-compliant with the Disabilities Act 2006 - which is being rolled out in December this year.
It was mooted last year that the facility be moved into a Spar store - a franchise managed by the same company.
