Plans have been drawn-up to create four new serious driving offences in the Isle of Man.
They're tailored to address cases of bad driving causing injury to others, which currently 'slip through the net' in court because none of the existing offences 'fit' the crime.
The Department of Infrastructure's asking for the public to take part in a consultation and give their views on the issue.
Proposed new offences include Causing Grievous Bodily Harm by Dangerous Driving, and Causing Death when Unlicensed, Disqualified or Uninsured.
