Photographs and artefacts on display at Rushen Heritage Centre
The history of mining in the south of the Island is the focus of a new exhibition at the Rushen Heritage Centre in Port Erin.
'A Brief History of Mining and Quarrying in the South' has been collated by Rushen Heritage Trust's Ali Graham.
It's based on text and photographs supplied by Peter Geddes and Sue Jones of the Laxey Mines Research Group, along with other photos and artefacts from various sources.
Featuring mining activities in an area from Bradda to Langness and up as far as Foxdale the exhibition runs until 6 September, Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
