Minister responds to transport links criticism
Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne says there would be a bus link between a proposed new ferry terminal in Liverpool and the city centre.
In Tynwald next week he will ask the court to approve spending up to £3.5 million to buy a site at Princes Half-Tide Dock.
It's around half a mile from the current Pier Head landing stage which is to be redeveloped as a cruise liner terminal.
Passenger watchdog TravelWatch believe the site is inconvenient for foot passengers and say there should be firm promises on a bus link to the city centre before any deal is struck.
Mr Gawne says such a service has been promised if the scheme goes ahead:
