Will Island be on silver screen?
A scandal which saw the Isle of Man thrust into the international spotlight looks set to become a major Hollywood film.
Millions of files regarding wealthy individuals and their offshore tax affairs were leaked from law firm Mossack Fonseca in 2016, in what became known as the Panama Papers.
It's just been confirmed Ocean's Eleven director Steven Soderbergh is working on a blockbuster cinematic adaptation, entitled The Laundromat.
The film, which has been tied to stars Meryl Streep and Antonio Banderas, will be based on Jake Bernstein's book Secrecy World, which focused on low-tax jurisdictions like the Isle of Man.
It is not currently known how much, if at all, the Island will feature in the film.
Mossack Fonseca closed its Douglas offices after the Papers went public two years ago - and the company wound up operations completely earlier this year.
