
The new Chief Fire Officer says there could be job losses and station closures in the coming year.
That's according to Kevin Groom who was appointed as the new chief this lunch-time.
Mr Groom joined the Island's fire service in 1982 and has served at every rank in the operational and community safety sides of the brigade.
Mr Groom says the fire service will have to look at the size of its work-force ahead of the new budget:
