
The Island's Fire and Rescue Service will look to forge further partnerships corporately and through the private and third sector under its new Chief Fire Officer.
That's according to the new Chief, Kevin Groom, who was appointed yesterday (Friday).
Mr Groom says he wants to focus on improving the quality of service at a community level.
He outlined what he hopes to achieve in the coming months:
