A new organisation is going to look after the history and heritage of Rushen.
The Rushen Heritage Trust was formed after a public meeting in April, and there are already around 40 volunteers onboard.
The idea is to capture the memories and artefacts associated with the parish, and then hold a series of exhibitions on different topics.
Graham Hall has been appointed to manage the trust.
He believes it will play a vital role in preserving Rushen's past.
