Jane Poole-Wilson hoping to build on work as MLC
The new justice and home affairs minister says she’ll be focussed on 'outcomes' but is 'mindful' of the responsibility that comes with the post.
Jane Poole-Wilson was appointed to the Council of Ministers yesterday.
She was also made deputy chief minister and will deputise for Alfred Cannan if he is ever unavailable.
Mrs Poole-Wilson, who was a non-practising solicitor before becoming an MLC in 2017, says she feels 'privileged' to take on the work she's already been doing:
Three-month wait for state pension forecast statements
OFT to investigate possible regulation of funeral directors
"One of the Island's foremost champions of Manx heritage" to receive Tynwald Honour
No timeline yet for reinstatement of rehab service to north
Venezuela Fury & Noah Price wedding "a true showcase of the breadth and quality of Manx services"
