A by-election has been called for one new member
The chair of Onchan Commissioners says there needs to be 'new ideas' on the board for the village to 'move forward'.
The local authority is holding a by-election to find a new commissioner; it follows the resignation of Fenella Logan.
Residents wanting to put themselves forward have from 10am on 9 October to 1pm on 16 October to submit their nomination papers.
Zara Lewin says there is 'negativity' surrounding the commissioners but the role is 'rewarding'.
