Money available to IoM and UK-based charities
The Manx government is launching a new, £2.4 million international development fund, which aims to help improve the lives of people in poorer countries.
It says the money will be used to support projects which work towards the likes of female empowerment and environmental preservation and sustainability.
The fund - one of five administered by the Cabinet Office - is available to charities registered in the UK or the Isle of Man.
