It’s hoped the six nursery nurses employed by the soon-to-close Isle of Man College nursery will be offered alternative employment within the college.
The Department of Education will close the nursery in August with four full-time and two part-time members of staff affected.
Principal Dr Ian Killip says financial assistance will be provided to enable students to secure places for their children at privately run nurseries:
