Chief Minister Tony Brown says the appointment of a new Civil Service Commission will not affect the day-to-day running of the body.
New legislation allows a commission of up to five members.
Chairman John Houghton, MHK, and company director Ian Jarritt have been re-elected, and are joined by new members Dudley Butt, MLC, human resources consultant Charles Wilson and charted accountant, Geoff Crowe.
