A new Manx class for beginners which promises to make learning the language fun, starts in Ramsey this month.
Local Manx teacher Paul Salmon says it's aimed at those with little or no knowledge of the Gaelic language, young or old, and he's encouraging parents keen to speak to their children in Manx, to come along.
The classes begin on September 18th at St Paul's lounge in Ramsey at 7.30pm - for more information e mail ramseymanxclass@manx.net, or call Paul on 451261.
There'll be no text books or lists of verbs as Paul will use a method of teaching designed to help people pick-up conversational Manx quickly.
He says interest is growing and the new class in Ramsey town centre is a chance for people in the north to join the growing band of Manx speakers:
