The Isle of Man Constabulary has officially taken on a new look today.
Acting Chief Constable Mike Langdon has become Chief Constable, and his previous full-time position as deputy has been filled by former Superintendent, Gary Roberts.

Mr Langdon has been the acting chief of the Manx force since Mike Culverhouse, who was awarded a Queen's Police Medal in the New Year Honours, went off on sick leave in August 2007.
Mr Langdon, who is originally from Bolton, joined the Manx force from Merseyside in 2005 and is another holder of the Queen's Police Medal.
Deputy Chief Constable Gary Roberts joined the force in 1984 and became Superintendent in 2005.
Following their appointments both men have been keen to stress the importance of community policing in the Isle of Man.
