Injection technique to attack Dutch Elm Disease
An experimental method of prevention could be rolled out next year, to protect some prominent trees on the Island from Dutch Elm Disease.
There's been an upsurge in cases of the disease this year, caused by the prolonged hot weather earlier in the summer.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture has re-launched its 'See It, Snap It, Send It' campaign - encouraging the public to report cases to the authorities.
But Dutch Elm Disease Coordinator, Jimmy Lee, says he's hoping a new injection technique will prove effective:
