Ramsey member calls for more digital options
A new MHK says the public needs to be able to vote in a more convenient way.
Juan McGuinness topped the poll in Ramsey last week with 1,703 votes; the third highest figure recorded for any candidate at the General Election.
However, it's estimated fewer than half of those registered to vote on the Island headed to the ballot box on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Rushen MHK Michael Crowe would like to see more done to encourage the youngest voters to head to the polls.
