Commitment to continue ambitious growth in sector
A strategy to grow the Island's food and drink sector by £50million by 2025 hasn't been affected by a change in department minister.
Geoffrey Boot replaced former DEFA boss Richard Ronan, after the latter decided not to seek re-election in September's general election.
It cast doubt over whether the Food Matters strategy would be continued.
But Food Business Development Manager Andrew Lees says the new chief is as committed as his predecessor:
