A new team has been set up within the Department of Economic Development to push forward redevelopment projects at major sites across the Isle of Man.
The main focus of the 'virtual' development team is to foster closer, more joined-up working in government, to speed-up the process of investment in sites currently standing empty.
The team is headed by Steve Moore, on a two year secondment from the Department of Infrastructure.
It also includes existing members of the Department of Infrastructure, Treasury, the Cabinet Office and the Attorney General’s Chambers.
Minister for Economic Development Laurence Skelly says major developments have a key role to play in the future economic success and quality of life of the Isle of Man.
