New equipment funded by Henry Bloom Noble Trust
A new state-of-the-art MRI scanner set to be put in place at Nobles Hospital, has arrived on-Island this morning, and is currently being installed.
The magnetic resonance imaging unit cost £1.2 million, and has been funded by the Henry Bloom Noble trust.
A three tesla version is being put in place, which is twice the size of the one currently in use.
The one already used will be kept in use, enabling many more patients to be seen and easing demand.
