
Cotton Traders opened its doors to Douglas shoppers for the first time this afternoon (27 Feb).
The leisure brand specialises in everyday clothing, with sizes ranging from an extra small right up to 5XL.
The store on Strand Street is the company's first on the Island and has replaced the empty unit in the centre of the high street vacated by Moochers earlier this year.
The clothing chain had planned to open on Saturday but with preparations well ahead of schedule, the first customers were welcomed a couple of days early.
Area manager Peter Johnson told reporter Kate Holland a 'soft' launch means any kinks can be ironed out before the official opening:
