Commodore drops into town hall
The navy’s new regional commander for the Isle of Man and northern England Commodore has been on the Island.
Commodore Gary Doyle paid a courtesy visit to Mayor of Douglas Sara Hackman as part of a campaign to maintain links between the Island and the North of England.
Commodore Doyle takes over the role from Commodore Dickie Baum and is based in Liverpool’s naval regional headquarters.
Commodore Doyle has served on nine Royal Navy warships, commanding a mine countermeasures vessel and an air defence destroyer.
