Steve Pickett to take on role in addition to his position on Business Isle of Man Board
The Department for Enterprise has announced that the role of Non-Executive Chair of Visit Isle of Man Board has been filled.
Steve Pickett is to take up the position, in addition to his role as Non-Executive Chair of Business Isle of Man Board.
The appointment follows the decision of Andrew Mackness to step down as Non-Executive Chair of Visit Isle of Man in order to 'focus fully on his own business interests, both on and off-Island'.
Mr Pickett says: ‘I am honoured to take on the role of Visit Board Chair and the opportunity this position presents. I look forward to working closely with both Boards to enhance the visitor experience and support our local businesses.’
Enterprise Minister Tim Johnston says: ‘Steve brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success in his role with the Business Agency and within the sector and will be a great addition to the Visit Board, particularly given the synergies between the respective sectors.
‘I’d like to thank Andrew for his contribution to the Visit Board and wish him well in his future endeavours.’
