Unit designed to make both patients and staff comfortable
The new Eric and Marion Scott Oncology Unit is a bright, clean and calm environment, according to the senior sister in the Chemotherapy Unit at Noble's Hospital.
"We worked really hard to try and create somewhere where patients would feel comfortable," says Jane Gaunt, who attended the launch of the new facility this weekend.
It's situated in the hospital's former ward five.
As well as hoping it's somewhere patients are happy to be, she says feedback from staff has been very positive, too:
