Changes coming in time for next year
There is a new podium at the Grandstand ahead of TT fortnight, but change elsewhere has been slower than desired.
That's the view of the MHK with responsibility for the event, at the Department for Enterprise Rob Callister.
He's welcoming early arrivals to the TT, and hoping they enjoy the racing and entertainment on offer.
Mr Callister says talks about improvements at the Grandstand are ongoing, and fans will notice a difference in the next 12 months.
He's also thanked in advance the huge army of volunteers who make the event possible.
