'Isle of Sin' is published today
It's important to document history and for lesser known stories to told.
That's the view of Manx poet Simon Maddrell, whose new pamphlet of poems hits shelves today.
'Isle of Sin' looks at the queer history of the Isle of Man, by charting how far the Island has progressed in recent years and exploring the darker years prior to the partial legalisation of sex between men in 1992.
It also celebrates the life of Dursley McLinden, the Manx stage and screen actor whose life is believed to have inspired the Channel 4 drama, It’s A Sin.
