
Jurby prison will get a new head from next week.
Bob McColm is taking over as governor, as its current chief Alison Gomme steps down.
Mr McColm will arrive on the Island next week, and replaces Mrs Gomme who’s been in charge of the northern facility since it opened in 2008.
She’s due to retire soon, but says there’s plenty of time to bring Mr McColm up to speed:
