Discussion in Tuesday sitting of Tynwald
Tynwald is being asked to create a substantial "no-go zone" around Noble's Hospital from this Friday - the day the new abortion laws come into effect.
The measure would create an access zone covering the entire hospital estate, and would also include public roads within 100 metres of the site.

If passed by Tynwald members, it would make it unlawful for someone, after being warned by the police, to "interfere, impede or repeatedly communicate with someone without their consent inside the access zone".
The Act would allow for injunctions to be imposed to restrain individuals from entering the access zone.
Its also proposed that permanent signs would be erected to underline the measures.
